Darryl J. King Student Life Centre

Designed in association with Perkins+Will Canada, the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre at King’s University College will become the social hub of campus life, fostering formal and informal interactions and providing a physical framework for collaboration, study and play. Sited at the southeast corner of the campus and connected to the existing G. Emmett Carter Cardinal Library, it establishes a strong public presence for the school within the formal campus and surrounding community. The building integrates two outdoor gathering spaces, the student life plaza and courtyard, with program areas including, the learning commons, café, student lounge, theatre, games mezzanine, student council offices and meeting rooms.
